Vishwa Bharati celebrates 50 yrs of Vivekananda Rock Memorial

JAMMU, Feb 3: Vishwa Bharati Senior Secondary School Akalpur morh, Jammu celebrated 50 years of Vivekananda Rock Memorial with extreme respect and piety for Swami Vivekananda, a great saint born on Indian Soil.
The programme commenced with “Welcome Address” by school Principal Annapurna Koul which was followed by speech from Bharati Bhat Principal Vishwa Bharati College of Education.
The members of Vishwa Bharati Management Committee J.L Koul President Vishwa Bharati Women’s Welfare Institution, Prof. A.N. Sadhu Chairman Academic Committee , Dr. SK Koul Secretary Vishwa Bharati J&K Unit and Dr. O.P. Razdan Member managing committee were present on the occasion.
JL Koul was the chief guest and BL Bhat was the special guest whereas Prof. AN Sadhu was the guest of honour.
To make the programme spiritually joyful some students presented beautiful songs and dance items based on the patriotic and divine land of India which has given birth to numerous saints and spiritualists who spread the gospels of God and message of humanity for the whole world. Some students delivered detailed speeches on the biography and preachings of Swami Vivekananda to lead a pious life. A power point presentation on Vivekananda’s life was given by Reeta Bambroo.
JL Koul also cited various examples of Swami Vivekananda’s life which has inspired not only the Indian’s but all the people around the world for universal peace and brotherhood.
