 Jammu, Feb 6: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), has urged up on the authorities to end up their issues by fulfilling their legitimate demands pending from years together.
 In a press statement, it’s general secretary Saleem Sagar, while raising the issues of teachers, has said that the organisation has time and again put forward the legitimate damands before the government, but despite resolving some chronic issues, there are several issues yet to be resolved for which government has assured number of times. However all those assurances have fallen flat.
 “Among the issues the main issue is the transfer of teachers, there is a sizable number of regularised general line teachers, including grade II, grade III, normal  regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem  Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers, and Third Teachers who have not been transferred since their appointment neither brought under transfer policy yet”, Sagar said. He once again urged authorities for early redressal of this grave issue.
 General secretary Saleem Sagar also demanded implementation of order no.469 of Edu. regarding inclusion of initial five years service in favour of regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers, disposal of all pending cases of Teacher grade II and teacher grade lll, disposal of overlapping cases by their conversion to teacher grade II and III, conversion of those teachers to teacher grade II and III who had minor adverse cases now cleared, leave encashment infavour of teachers, adjustment of upper primary school headteachers on available mastergrade posts and creation of  master  grade posts in upper primary school, abolishment of incharge system in school education department, like that of   headmasters , ZEPOs, ZEO’ principles and lecturers, immediate Initiation of time bound promotion of Teacher Grade II and III in Kashmir division  for which directions have already been received by the department from higher ups.
