JAMMU, Feb 6: There is no punctuality of officials at SMGS and other hospitals of the city.
The time of duty change at 8 PM but many times the ultra sonography technician comes one hour late at the emergency ultra sonography of SMGS jammu.
“It was 8:40 and the Ultra Sonography technician had not reached with the patients mostly pregnant ladies were waiting,” said Sumit who came with his wife from Rajouri adding that strictness should be done with such staffers of the hospital.
Similar was the misery at blood bank of the hospital where after the change of the shift the new shift employees come at their will and none asks them anything while the patients and their attendants suffer.
“It is a rule that till the new shift employee not joins duty the official on duty can’t leave but none pays heed to this,” insiders informed adding that this has become a habitual aspect of the employees. Despite repeated attempts GMC Principal could not be contacted. |
