Inter Panchayat, Block Level cricket tournament
NCC to face Road Safety IX CC in finals

JAMMU, Feb 12: In a Inter Panchayat, Block Level cricket tournament two semi final games were played on Wednesday at Parade ground Jammu.
The competition is being organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports J&K Jammu in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council where all block teams of District Jammu participated in the mega tournament. The competitions is organised under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, Worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, Jammu.
Sukhdev Raj Sharma is the organising secretary of the said tournament and officials of Youth Services & Sports District Jammu remain present during the competitions. Matches were officiated by Saleem-ur-rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Radhir singh, Vijay, Rahul & Ashok.
In first semifinal, National Cricket Club defeated Simulla Cricket Club by 02 runs. Batting first National Cricket Club batted first and scored 163 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 over’s, courtesy to Kanaya Wadawan who scored half century. For Simulla Cricket club, Akash and Kuldeep took two wickets each.
In reply Simula Cricket Club managed 161 runs and were bundled out in 20 overs and lost the match by 2 runs. Raman Dutta scored 40 runs and Tanmay took three wickets. Kanaya Wadawan was declared Man of the Match.
In second semifinal, Road Safety IX Cricket club outclassed Vishal Cricket Club by 07 runs. Road Safety IX Cricket club scored 128 in 20 over’s. Pankaj Lada scored highest 38 runs. In reply Vishal Cricket Club Score fell short by 7 runs and lost the match. Arif declares Man of the Match.
Final Match Played between National Cricket Club V/S Road Safety IX Cricket Club on Thursday at 11.00 am sharp.
