UDHAMPUR, FEB 12: Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla today chaired a meeting with officers of Revenue departments to review the progress of Jamabandies achieved under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme.
Detailed discussion were held on various issues regarding progress of writing of jamabandies, land acquisition cases, progress of attestation of pending mutations, eviction of encroachments on state land, progress of inspection of revenue records and maintenance of various registers at Patwari level.
DC directed the concerned to complete all the Jamabandies by 31st March 2020. He further directed the revenue officers to update their revenue records especially Jamabandies at war footing to ensure that the digitization is completed in a time bound manner and people can avail the benefits of the programme.
He stressed upon concerned officers to keep a close check on encroachments in areas under their respective jurisdiction and strengthening the anti encroachment mechanism to retrieve encroached state land and submit detailed report within a week time positively. Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Vikar Giri, DFO Udhampur Shavaita Jandial, SDM Chenani, Abdul Sattar, IAS Probationer, Faz-Lul-Haseeb besides all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and field functionaries were present in the meeting. |
