JKPCC OBC department protest against government
2/12/2020 10:09:56 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 12: The OBC Department of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee today staged protest demonstration against the Modi led BJP government and UT administration against the rationalization of reservation policy framed by Modi led Government for Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Adv. Dogra said that the OBC status and the Mandal Commission report which guarantees 27% reservation and extension of National Commission for Backward Classes were totally ignored, which is the provision of UT. After the abrogation of Article 370 and formation of UT, the Centre Govt. has implemented all national laws in the newly carved UT of Jammu and Kashmir but it is very unfortunate that the national laws for the OBCs were not implemented.
The said community who was continuously fighting for their legal and constitutional rights for last three decades were expected their due demands would be fulfilled in the UT but again got disappointed by the rationalization of reservation policy of the ruling party.
Adv. Dogra further said, that RSS and BJP party is popular for the party of the capitalists never remained in the favour of down trodden and weaker section of India, again befooled the under privileged and innocent class on the name of this reservation policy. The Prime Minister of India Narinder Modi who has fetched the votes on the name of OBC and claimed himself belongs to this community, is the real enemy of this section of society.
The others who accompanied Parshotam Lal Mehra (Vice -Chairman), Prabodh Jasyal (Vice- Chairman), Abhishek Kumar (Media coordinator), Vijay Verma (Gen. Secy), Raj Kumar (Distt.
