JAMMU, Mar 4: District Development Commissioner Sushma Chauhan today felicitated around 66 trainees of the Centres for Border Youth Training and Empowerment (C-BYTE), who have recently been selected for Indian Army and other armed forces after undergoing academic and physical training at the CBYTE centres.

DDC added that five centres for medically fit border youth were opened in border blocks of Arnia, R S Pura, Marh, Akhnoor and Khour which are working to enhance the academic ability and physical endurance of the enrolled youth. A total of 70 trainees are inducted in each centre after medical examination and are trained for 3 months without paying any fees for the training period, she further added.
