| Construction of Kriya Shed hailed | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Mar 4: The people living in Bimarnag and Nagni of Panchayat Hidyal today express his gratitude to the officials of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj for construction of Kriya Shed which was long pending demand of the people living in these areas.
The people inform the Early Times that they raise the issue of construction of Kriya Shed at these two places since the people performing the last rites of their beloved ones faces lot of inconvenience during rainy season as well as during snowfall and under hot weather conditions-which was finally fulfilled through RDD department under 14th FC plan.
Speaking to Early Times, Technical Assistant Vijay Parihar said that these two Kriya Sheds were constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.1.46 Lakhs and Rs.1.80 lakh added that it includes approach path leading to the Kriya Shed beside fence and Chinar protection. He said that BDO Kishtwar Sheetal Sharma along with Sarpanch Hiday Payrae Lal Parihar shows serious and keen approach towards construction of these Kriya Sheds.
He said that under 14th FC, park at Than Devta Mandir (Rs. 1.70 lakh) at Zelna, Drain at village Puhie in Lachdiyaram B at an estimated cost of Rs.5 lakh, construction/fencing of grave yards at Mochi Mohllah Puhie at an estimated cost of 1 lakh are some works that has been completed in Kishtwar Block. He said that in Hidyal Panchayat development of ground at Masjid Sharief at ward No. 9 has also been completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 70000. |
