Terror launch-pads go active as Kashmir peace unnerves Pakistan
Army Chief asks troops to be prepared
3/7/2020 11:42:50 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 7: The sustained peace in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir last year has left Pakistan so unnerved that the enemy country has yet again activated terror launch pads on the frontiers along Union Territory, prompting the Indian forces to be prepared for a befitting reply.
As if the lesson taught by the Indian forces in the Balakote airstrike of February 26, 2019 and the previous Surgical Strike after Uri attack were not enough, Pakistan is back with its sinister design of forcing terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir through its terror launch pads along the international border and the Line of Control.
Sources said during the recent visit of the Chief of the Army Staff to Kashmir on February 26, 2020, General MM Naravane was briefed about the “usual terror activity on the other side of the fence and how terror launch pads had been activated by the enemy forces.”
Sources said the Army Chief was told that scores of terrorists have been pushed on the terror launch-pads and that they were waiting for “chance to infiltrate into the Indian territory.” Sources said the terrorists waiting to infiltrate into Kashmir, have been equipped with some of the latest weapons including the USA made M4 Machine Guns and suicide jackets.
Sources said it was only after receiving detailed inputs about the Pakistan’s terror plots that General Naravane has asked the troops deployed on the frontiers to remain alert and be prepared to meet any emerging situation.
Sources said a high alert has been sounded along the frontiers to prevent any apprehended infiltration and that the Indian Airforce would be coordinating with the Indian Army “if and when any such need arises.”
The Indian agencies have already received intelligence inputs that Pakistan has been unnerved by the sustained peace in Jammu and Kashmir since August 5, 2019 and thus wants to sent in terrorists to “keep the pot boiling.”
But Indian forces are prepared to foil such nefarious designs and also to give befitting reply.
