3/12/2020 9:58:35 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 12: In a meeting at New Delhi today KPC while welcoming the statement of Amit Shah, Home Minister of India, yesterday in Parliament, for exemplary action against Delhi riots accused and setting up panel to recover damages, but questioned to Prime Minister and Home Minister of India about denying or delaying the exemplary punishment to the killers and conspirators of KPs massacres and murders during turmoil in the valley, looting and burning their property.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC stated that the land, orchards, houses and business establishments were snatched , encroached and forcibly occupied by looters and encroachers among the majority community, no action were taken or probe initiated against the Wandhama, Nadi--Marg like massacres as well as against their so--called leaders like Mirwaz Umer Farooq, Yasin Malik, Geelani who provoked masses against us and nation and killers like Bitta Karatay and others who killed, rapped and chopped our community daughters, which was basic reason of KP,s exodus.
He said no change has come in the life of victim displaced Kashmiri Pandits after exodus, no doubt environment and surroundings changed, but not the situation. We were forced to live in muddy lanes and dusty streets, tents and rented accommodations, hunting for jobs and hankering for relief. No one paid attention to us, because we were not a substantial vote bank.
KPC leadership demanded immediate judicial and SIT probe in all issues related to victim KP community during and after turmoil, regress punishment to the responsible people and setting up panel to recover damages and grant compensation to the loses of KP land and property.
