Pakistan Army violates ceasefire in Poonch sector 5 times in 36 hours
3/12/2020 10:02:02 PM
Early Times Report

Poonch, Mar 12: Pakistan continues to peddle anti-India agendas through their continued infiltration attempts as yet some more cases of ceasefire violations has come to light from the neighbouring country in the past 36 hours.
The Pakistan Army has once again violated ceasefire in Sawjian area along the Line of Control in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
This time around they resorted to firing small arms to target Indian forward posts and villages in the area. There have been five ceasefire violations from the Pakistani side in the last 36 hours.
Indian troops befittingly retaliated to the cross border firing. According to inputs, Pakistan was trying to infiltrate terrorists into the Indian side under the garb of the ceasefire violation and shelling to destabilise peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
All five ceasefire violations happened in the Poonch sector – three in Qasba and Kerni areas while one was reported from Shahpur and the fifth in Sawjian.
The passes on the north of Pir Panjal range are closed due to heavy snowfall, which is why the focus of the Pakistan Army and infiltrators is more on the south side of the Himalayan range.
Pakistan has been rattled ever since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, and out of desperation have been making attempts to push terrorists into the Indian border. There are more 300-400 terrorists waiting on different launch pads along the Line of Control to enter the Indian territory.
Just in the nick of time
The abrogation of Article 370 has sent the Pakistani terror groups on the back foot as their anti-India agenda has become difficult to propagate in wake of the stripping away of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
The J&K Police on Wednesday stopped two local youths from joining the militancy in Pulwama after they were indoctrinated by false narratives.
“Timely action taken by police prevented two youths from joining terror ranks in Awantipora. These youths had been indoctrinated and were influenced by the false narratives through social media and through incorrect information/education imparted to them,” a police officer said, according to reports.
