DDC flags off awareness Van regarding Corona virus prevention

DODA, Mar 12: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today flagged off two awareness vehicles from district headquarters to disseminate more information regarding preventive measures that need to be taken into account to tackle Corona Virus at grass root level.
Besides others CMO Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, DEPO Ayaz Mughal, and other officials of health and education department were present during the program.
DDC informed that these awareness vans have been designated for Doda and Ghat block to aware the people about the various preventive measures which shall be followed in letter and spirit so that the spread of the Corona Virus can be contained in the district. He added that four awareness vans will be flagged off from Assar, Thathri, Gandoh and Bhaderwah tomorrow.
Moreover DDC said that through these awareness vans wide publicity of control room numbers will be given besides voice clips will be played regarding preventive measures. He appealed the people to inform the administration if any individual in their locality have any abroad travel history or to the affected countries, so that immediate and necessary action in this regard will done.

Meanwhile, chairing another sensitization program organised for constituted surveillance committee's of the district, DDC directed the officers to visit their designated areas, disseminate information about preventive measures to the people, identify the individuals in their areas who have foreign travel history if any and to report the district administration immediately, so that necessary action will be initiated without any delay.
