Samba Police installed complaint boxes at public places

SAMBA, May 1: District Police Samba has installed 10 complaint boxes at public places / eye-catching places across the District Samba to collect intelligence, to receive valuable suggestions from public and to redress their genuine grievances/complaints that would help in better policing.
The complaint boxes have been installed at Bus Stand Rajpura, Ghagwal, Samba, Vijaypur, Ramgarh, Purmandal, District Court Complex Samba, SIDCO Chowk Samba, Baba Sidh Goria Temple Swankha and Gurha Slathia Vijaypur. The aim of installing complaint boxes is to collect information directly from the locals about their concern, to help Police in prevention of crime by sharing valuable information, to raise any concerns with policing and other issues that the public face. The complaint boxes system is also likely to be a convenience for public instead; the police will reach out to them to sort out their issues. The responsibility of maintaining the complaint boxes lies with the concerned Supervisory Officers and SHOs.
