Srinagar, May 15: Admitting that the novel Coronavirus is a reality and people should learn to live with it now, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Dr Shahid Choudhary said wisdom lies in preparing for it.
Meanwhile, he appealed to people to remember in their prayers all those officials and others who are spending nights in service of humanity.
Lauding the role of all those who without caring for their luxuries and are busy receiving and providing help people arriving here from other states.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter Dr Choudhary said, “Coronavirus is a reality we have to live with. Our masked generation will have to accept & adopt safety protocols as a routine. Wisdom lies in preparing for it. Each one of us”.
In another tweet, he said, “Nearly 4,000 arrivals. 1,200+ today. Hundreds walked home after results. Sadly 13 travellers tested positive today.
Humble & sincere appeal to all returnees for utmost caution. Nothing more important than this”.
“Nothing could replace home luxuries. Our colleagues putting in their best to make the arrival comfortable after long & stressful journeys. Let’s help & encourage each other to do our best. Welcome home. We have 4,000 guests tonight,” he said.
He further tweeted, “In search of Laylat al-Qadr people pray more in last ten days of Ramazan. Some of our colleagues are spending nights in the service of humanity. Let’s pray for them too.”
