| Distt admin distributes magazines, books among quarantine inmates | | |  Early times Report
KISHTWAR, May 17: District administration headed by District Magistrate Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara distributed books and magazines among persons at various quarantine centres in Kishtwar.
As a positive gesture on the part of the district administration, these magazines and books printed in Hindi ,English and Urdu languages will not only enrich their knowledge base but will also recreate them against the boredom they may be feeling in the Quarantine. DM today also inspected various quarantine centres and kick started distribution of books and magazines at these centres.
The DM was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Dr Amir Hussain and Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar Anoop Kumar and others. Besides, ALC Kishtwar handed over 150 magazines and books to the BDO Kishtwar ,Sheetal Sharma who is Nodal officer, Quarantine Centre BVM Kishtwar for further distribution among the persons in quarantine centres. DM urged the people of Kishtwar to generously donate more and more books and magazines so that it could be distributed among all the persons that may be kept in various quarantine centres in future.
It is pertinent to mention here that about 1000 books and magazines along with 2000 old newspapers have been donated by different establishments for distribution among the persons in quarantine. |
