District Admin starts paid quarantine facilities

DODA, May 23: District administration Doda on the directions of District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode has started the provision of paid quarantine facilities across the district along with the free quarantine facilities already working in the district since the stranded labourers/students have started to return to the district.
With an aim to provide convenience to the stranded families and students who are returning to the district after being stuck at various locations across the country during the lockdown restrictions amid Coronavirus threat, the administration started paid quarantine facilities.
The DDC informed that the decision of paid quarantine facilities has been taken in view of various representations received by the district administration on daily basis and especially from the families and women.
The DDC Doda directed to constitute a Committee under the chairmanship of ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma along with Sameer Ul Rehman Accounts Officer ADDC office and Executive Engineer, PWD Doda for the fixation of rates of paid quarantine facilities in the district.
After reviewing the rates of different hotels, the constituted committee fixed the rates for various designated hotels across the district on the basis of availability of single bedroom and double bed room, with a minimum charge of Rs 100 to 600 as per facilities in hotels.
To avail the facility of paid quarantine, the interested person can approach the designated QRT head Tehsildar Barath Bagla, Suman Jeet Sharma besides his team which includes Tehsildar Doda, Shabir Ahmed Malik, Sameer Ul Rehman, Dr. Adnan Khawaja, Vijay Sharma and Ashok Shan from the health department and Amir Hussain from DC Office Doda.

Moreover, the hotel owners are strictly directed not to overcharge from any one, besides they shall also ensure the sanitation in their respective hotels and shall render their services as per the set guidelines.
