SUF seeks admin’s proper attention towards quarantine centres

JAMMU, May 24: A telephonic meeting of Sikh United Front (SUF) J&K and an amalgam of various Sikh Organizations of J&K held under the chairmanship of Sudarshan Singh Wazir Chairman Sikh United Front J&K.
Chairman SUF Sudarshan Singh Wazir, Dayal Singh Wazir Chairman Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, H S Raina Ex-General Secretary DGPC Jammu, Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kaniya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and Ex Member DGPC Jammu and Darbinder Singh President Shiromani Akali Dal J&K and S. Kulwant Singh Khajuria Joint Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, appealed the Governor of UT J&K Girish Chander Murmu to personally intervene and ask the administration to give proper attention toward the quarantine centers made for those who repatriated to J&K.
The students and other kept in isolation centers have made complains as electronic media showed with evidences that proper diet is not provided and their immunity may be weakened such conditions are more disastrous and the life of persons kept in quarantine is in risk. Hence it is better to keep them in home quarantine. It is also appraised to the Governor J&K UT that labourers in thousands are stuck in J&K during lockdown and now out of pocket that they may please be provided transport to reach their homes in various states of country.
It was demanded that working class like auto rickshaw drivers, drivers of other private trnasport, plumbing, electric workers, cobblers and washermen should be given one time compensation as their livelihood has been affected due to lock down.
