GDC Khour organizes online Inter-collegiate Quiz competition

Jammu, June 12: The Department of Dogri Govt. Degree College Khour organized an Inter-Collegiate quiz competition for the students of 6th semesters of colleges in order to assess preparation made by them for the forthcoming examination, during lockdown period.
The entire quiz was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Hans Raj Principal of the college. The response was overwhelming as large number of students of various colleges of J&K (UT) participated in the quiz competition. On analysis, students of Sem. 6th namely Babli Devi, Renu Devi and Rekha Sharma of GDC Ramnagar, Neha Devi, Ruchi Sharma, Arun Sharma and Shivalika Sharma of GDC Akhnoor, Vishal Kumar and Sahil Sharma of GDC Reasi and Rishu Sharma of GDC Khour secured 100% marks and bagged first position. Rinku Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and Bandu Sharma of GDC Ramnagar, Rajni Devi and Sheetal Sharma of GDC Khour, Rahul Singh of GDC Samba, Tinka Devi of GDC Women Kathua , Dimple Barna of GDC R.S.Pura and Mohd. Huzaif Bhat of GDC Bijbehara scored 93.8% marks and got second position, Suresh Sharma, Anjali Sharma Sushila Devi and Jyoti Sharma of GDC Akhnoor, Meena Devi of GDC Ramnagar, Priya Choudhary of GDC Samba and Shakshi Sharma of GDC Khour bagged 87.5% marks and got third position. The students who scored 70% or more were awarded e-certificates.
The quiz was conducted by Dr. Rajesh Manhas Head of Department of Dogri.
