Jammu, June 16: Avny Lavasa Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation today inaugurated Wash Rooms (Public Convince) units in Ward No. 21 Gandhi Nagar, Jammu under Swach Bharat Mission in presence of Bhanu Mahajan, Councillor Ward No. 21, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Two units one at Police Station Gandhi Nagar was inaugurated in presence of SP South Sh. Deepak Dingra, SDPO South Ram Singh, SHO Gandhi Nagar Gurnam Singh Choudhary & SHO Women Cell Arti Thakur at Police Station and second unit was inaugurated at Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School in presence of Principal and Staff members of the school.
The Commissioner, JMC requested the general public to help JMC to put an end to the practice of open defecation and maintain hygiene and assured the residents / institutions functioning in Ward No. 21 for the best possible services by JMC.
