Rahul - Put Off Your Biased Blinkers
6/16/2020 11:58:26 PM
Omkar Dattatray

Rahul Gandhi scion of Gandhi dynasty has been exposed time and again over his outburst on issues and non-issues. His immaturity has come to fore on a number of occasions. His remarks are in accordance with the present day philosophy of the congress. According to congress leaders secularism means minority appeasement and majority bashing perhaps for the vote bank politics. The duplicity of the congress is exposed when the party and its leaders including Rahul and congress president Sonia Gandhi were silent over the unfortunate lynching of the Sadhus in Palghar. These days the former chief of the congress party does not see the tolerance in the h the Indian society and he has kept the biased blinkers and sees everything through it. According to him there is intolerance in the country and he regrets over it. It has come to fore from the conversation of the Rahul Gandhi with professor of diplomacy at Harvard’s Kennedy school Nicholas Burns. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that the India - US partnership works only because both the nations are tolerant so far so good but he hastens to add that the DNA of tolerance has disappeared in both the countries. He said that we are supposed to be open but that openness is disappearing in the country as per Rahul Gandhi. The congress leader said that he is sad because he does not see the tolerance in US and India but this is the biased approach of Rahul - the congress prince. But rightly Burns disapproves as he has said that US is a tolerant nation as India. This should open the eyes of the biased Rahul and he should say everything proper thinking. Rahul forgets that India is a tolerant nation from the ancient times and it cannot be intolerant. In India different sects and communities co-exist and live peacefully and in harmony. Unity in diversity is the hallmark and the beauty of India and for this mutual existence the country is famous throughout the world. This tolerance cannot be demeaned by the young scion of the Gandhi dynasty. It only brings disrepute to the congress party itself. One fails to understand as to why is the congress leader seeing through the biased blinkers. It is only for the vote bank politics and the appeasement politics for which the congress is famous and known .Congress leader is required to not see everything with the biased spectacles but see with reason and sanity. Instead of making himself as a person of ridicule the congress leader should not speak anything which will lower the prestige of the country in the comity of the nations. Earlier the congress party and Rahul Gandhi has talked about the army of the country and denigrated it when the fact is that the Indian army is dedicated force and is working day in and day out for safeguarding the country and the congress remarks are bound to lower the morale of our army jawans and this sort of politics is not acceptable by the country and congress will have to pay a heavy price for this. In India different religious communities are living in total harmony and respecting the sentiments of each other and there is no such thing as intolerance and the congress leader should not mislead the nation .Hindu bashing and minority appeasement are the favourite pastime of the congress as is clear from the politics of appeasement of the minority and insulting the majority. The secularism of the congress is strange as it does not give equal respect to all the communities but gives unequal respect and treatment to different communities. According to congress and its leader Rahul secularism implies only minority appeasement and majority bashing for which the congress party perhaps sands for .It is very unfortunate that to Rahul and his congress the tolerance is missing in the country while the fact is that the religious tolerance is in the very blood of the Indians and is the very culture of the country and the country stands tall in the comity of the nations for its shinning tolerance and mutual-co-existence and pluralism and secularism. Rahul Gandhi and his congress should do self introspection over its politics of appeasement. Rahul should put off his biased blinkers and should see everything with the open and unbiased approach and desist from the politics of minority appeasement and Hindu bashing and in this lies the good of the congress party and the country.
