| APS Kaluchak celebrates Yoga Day | | |

Jammu, June 23: NCC Cadets of APS Kaluchak celebrated International Yoga Day. The Cadets under the guidance of all ANO's Chief Officer Deepak Walia, Third Officer Anamika Jamwal and Caretaker Monika Dhar, performed yoga at their respective homes. The purpose was to acquaint them and make them experience the unprecedented benefits of yoga.
Hem Lata Vishen, Principal APS Kaluchak also motivated the cadets through whatsapp messages which fuelled them with indomitable inspiration and rendered them awe smitten. As a part of the celebration, the students sent their videos and photographs to the teachers thereby astonishing the facilitators with their adroitness and dexterity.
Icing on the cake was the celebration of World Environment Day on 5 June, 2020 as a part of which a plethora of activities were organized in order to sensitize the students with the indispensable need of conserving environment.
Students were prompted to plant a tree in the vicinity of their house thereby fostering the notion of “Planting a Tree, is planting a Hope” amongst them and inspiring them to contribute in the creation of green planet.
In the wake of the pandemic, with the purpose of sensitizing the students about the ways and means of fighting against the virus and put up a brave fight, a Poster Making Competition was organized on a wide array of relevant topics on 26 May, 2020. |
