| DF&SS seeks clarity on Amarnath yatra, stages protest | | |

Jammu, July 20: Dogra Front & Shiv Sena on Monday staged a protest demanding a clarity upon the auspicious Amaranth Yatra 2020.
DF&SS president, Ashok Gupta SHOK GUPTA said that it was decided to start the yatra on July 21, however, there has been no official announcement from the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board even as only a day has been left for the date. Even online registration is also not being accepted.
He further said that the growing crisis of Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir is a matter of concern, but the Government should also take care of the sentiments of the devotees and clarify its stand regarding the Amarnath Yatra.
Gupta further stated that Charri Mubarak should visit the Shrine along with Sadhus and Sants who for an entire year wait to bow there heads in front of the Shivling.
The SOP should be issued for the yatries so that they have a clarity that what rules and regulations they have to abide by and the testing would be done at Lakhanpur or they have to get the test report with themselves.
Yatra should go and the people should be allowed in the small batches along with sadhu, Sants for the Charri Yatra. |
