| Face cover is utmost important for self protection: Sat | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Handing over more than 1000 face masks to BJP Jammu West unit for public distribution, Former State President BJP Sat Sharma (CA) stated that face covers and masks are utmost important for self protection and expressed gratitude towards everybody in Jammu and Kashmir for following the rules and regulations strictly.
Sharma was also accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, District General Secretaries Rajesh Gupta and Karan Sharma.
The masks were provided by District Vice President Jaideep Sambyal and Bhanu.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that face covers are the need of the hour today and in today’s time we all have to protect ourselves by following protocols laid by the Government of India and maintenance of personal hygiene is a must.
He appreciated the efforts of BJP leaders as well for providing a large number of face masks for public distribution which will cater a lot in protection from Covid19 pandemic.
He also stated that even in the last four months our team has provided relief to more than 20000 families in Jammu West by providing them ration and other facilities. He urged masses to aware each other for taking the virus seriously and appealed to everyone to maintain social distancing.
Munish Khajuria said that team Jammu West is reaching out to masses through various ways keeping in view all norms of social distancing and making masses aware of using face covers and masks.
He also stated that due to efforts of Former MLA, Sat Sharma, regular distribution of essentials are being done so that nobody sleeps hungry, he added.
