| Plantation drive under Van Mahotsav 2020 rolling in Reasi Forest Division | | |

Reasi, July 30: Setting the ball rolling for monsoon plantation in reasi forest division the department is planting on full swing. Today the plantation was done at muck site in gran morh, Reasi to mark the celebration of Van-Mahotsav 2020. More than 200 plants were planted of different species to convert the muck site into a green area in coming time. Plantation was done in association with administration and northern railway’s in presence of Divisional Forest Officer Jyotsana IFS and Deputy Commissioner mrs Indu Kanwal Chib. Plantation drive was carried out to make the muck sites alive by making them green sites. DFO Reasi stated that many more such muck sites which have been closed will be taken under plantation. |
