BJP Mahila Morcha holds meet, conducts plantation drive at Jagti camp

JAMMU, Aug 17: Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha held a meeting of its office bearers on the directions of JKUT president Sangeeta Dogra here today at Jagti, which was joined by the activists of BJP Kashmir Displaced District women wing under the chairpersonship of J&KUT secretaries and BJP KDD Mahila activists.
The meeting was presided over by the secretaries of JKUT Mahila Morch BJP, Neha Mahajan, Urvashi,Indu Puri and Vaishno Ji who were chief guests on the occasion impressed upon the bold decisions taken by the BJP led Government at centre to repeal the Articles 370 and 35A to give a smooth passage to flow the central laws in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir with out any obstacle. We see today that for the last one year the backbone of separatist elements who had made a hue and cry for many years in the Kashmir has been broken for good, they added. Abrogation of controversial articles have changed destiny of our married women folk also who lose right to their parental properties after their marriage, they further awared the participants of the meeting. Similarly there were many other burning issues of the erstwhile state which got redressed after the abrogation of these articles.
The meeting was attended by BJP KDD Mahila Morcha district president Dolly Raina, vice presidents Meenakhshi Wali, Chandra Dhar and Priya, general secretary Monica besides secretaries which include Anju Raina, Jai Kishori Kaw, Sujata, Neelam Koul and Sunita Jamwal.
Later on the Mahila Morcha activists planted saplings in a park in lane No 5 of the camp.
