| Govt. P. G. College Rajouri Organizes Online Inter-College Essay Competition | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Rajouri, Aug 17: Women Development Cell and Women Study Centre of Govt. P. G. College Rajouri in collaboration with Social Welfare Department J&K organized and online Inter-College Essay Competition on the topic “Impact of COVID-19 on the Socio- Economic Conditions of Women”. The programme was organized by Prof Asia Rashid Bhat( Coordinator Women Development Cell) and Prof. Raheela Mushtaq, Prof Fatima Perveen and Dr. Atiya Sayed (Members Women Development Cell) of the college under the Patron-ship of Principal of the College Prof(Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina.
59 students from different Colleges of J&K participated in the competition. Vatsalya Chadha of Govt. College for Women Gandhinagar Jammue bagged 1st position where as Sonali Billawria of G College of Education Jammu and Mr. Shafeeq Ahmed of Govt. P.G.College Rajouri clinched 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In his message, Prof(Dr) Shakeel Ahmed Raina congratulated the participants and winners of the symposium and also appreciated the Coordinator and members of Women Development Cell of the college for organizing the programme. He also thanked Social Welfare Department for collaboration and support for the programme. He specially thanked Mr. Ajay Salaan (Distt.Social Welfare Officer Jammu) for cooperation. Prof. Asia Rashid Bhat presented formal vote of thanks . |
