Jammu, Aug 19: In a statement Gurmeet Singh Social activist and Leader AAP said, Instead of creating more employment avenues to the unemployed Engineers, J&K Administration abolishing Self Help Groups of engineers and their 30% quota of contract works, thousands of young unemployed Engineers earning their bread and butter by working through Self Help Groups in various departments.
He said Government could not ignore the fact that thousands of families were dependent on their breadwinners who had been disengage from the works , Govt should immediately revoke the order and reengage them in the works. They have given their life precious years to the development of Jammu and Kashmir, worked in far flung and hilly areas , what they get after giving their life precious time , self help groups scheme has been wrapping out and their 30% work quota has been cancelled without any reasons. He said that there will be joblessness because of this decision. Why the order is being taken when Covid-19 has wiped out thousands of jobs in different sectors.The order should be immediately roll back without any further delay. |
