| Tawi Trekkers group returns back after expedition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 6: A seven-member group of Tawi Trekkers J&K returned here after a successful trekking expedition in Dudu- Seoj Meadow- Kailash Kund area.
The team was led by Sonam Sidharth started from Dudu in a light drizzle which sometimes turned into heavy downpour forcing the trekkers to seek shelter under deodar trees many a times. Against the target of 18 kms trek to Seoj meadow the trekkers could trek only for 14 kms and had to halt below Hathi Matha for a night stay. The rain continued throughout the night but the team enjoyed a good sleep in tents in their cozy sleeping bags after having a sumptuous dinner prepared by Pranav Bandral, Sanjay and Abhimanyu Sherpa.
The first group comprising Abhiudit Koushal, Pranav Bandral, Sanjay, Sourav Deep Singh and Abhimanyu Sherpa left for Seoj meadow at about 11 AM. The remaining two trekkers Sonam Sidharth and Manik Slathia the first group at 1pm after packing the tents and other paraphernalia. The camp was established at the end of the Seoj meadow, at the base of the ridge leading to Kailash Kund. The team returned to Dudu the next day and came back to Jammu via Ramnagar enjoying a short good halt at Shiv Gali, a beautiful place.
