DC Poonch discusses modalities for Janbaghidari Abhiyan, phase-III of B2V program

POONCH, Sept 6: Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav on Sunday chaired a meeting of the district and sectoral officers of the district to discuss the modalities for Janbaghidari Abhiyan and the implementation of third phase of the Back To Village (B2V) Program commencing soon.
A detailed discussion was held in the meeting regarding several measures to be taken for the effective implementation of the twin campaigns in all Panchayats of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the Janbaghidari Abhiyan will be launched ahead of the phase III of the B2V. He informed that the Janbaghidari Abhiyan is a three week long programme which shall commence on September 10 and culminate on September 30, 2020. He said the district and sectoral officer shall remain stationed at the respective headquarters from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM except on Wednesday and Sunday to document various public grievances. The Deputy Commissioner added that after Janbaghidari Abhiyan will commence the third phase of the ambitious back to village program from October 2 which will last till October, 12. The Deputy Commissioner said the flagship programme has generated huge interest, affection and respect among the people and the UT Government has decided another version of the program in the form of Phase-III of B2V. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to work in close coordination and with added zeal to ensure that all the public demands and issues are listened with great care and are redressed in a better manner. The meeting was attended by SSP Ramesh Angral, ACD Rajesh Lakhan, ACR Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, Xen PDD, Xen R&B, AEE PWD, Social Welfare Officer SDM, Tehsildars, DPO Mukhlis Ali, LDM A.K Gupta besides all district/sectoral officers.
