| IGP Traffic sends team to check traffic violations at Sunderbani, defaulters imposed fine | | | AB Sharma

Sunderbani, Sep 12: Taking cognizance of the news item published in Early Times regarding traffic violations in the Sub Division of Sunderbani of Tehsil Rajouri, the Inspector General of Police Traffic instructed the department to send a team at Sunderbani to check traffic violations.
Consequent upon the directions of IGP Traffic, a team including DySP Traffic Mohd Javed Mirza along with SO Hemraj laid down several nakas today at different places in the town to check traffic violations including overloading, without documents etc. from morning 10 am.
"During drive, traffic officials seized seven vehicles including passengers mini buses, and tempo in violation of overloading. Around 65 challans were issued to the defaulters and Rs 30000 of fine was imposed on various violations," reports said.
The local residents of the Sunderbani thanked the IGP Traffic for his prompt action and demanded regular drives in the town so that traffic violations would be curbed. |
