Jammu, Sept 12: To commemorate the International Literacy Day ,NSS Campus Units , University of Jammu organized a three days national level online slogan writing competition based on the Theme “Skill Adds Up the Value of Literacy “.
By adhering the social distancing norms and other SOP conditions as under Covid-19, more than 50 participants in competition from different Schools, Colleges and Universities of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, participated in Online Slogan writing. For this purpose an online form was created and the participants uploaded the photographs of their slogans .
The participants wrote slogans in English, Hindi and Urdu languages for creating awareness among the public about the importance of Literacy.
All the participants participated in the event with great zeal and enthusiasm. E-Certificates were awarded to every participant for their participation in the events as a mark of Appreciation.The Online competition was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Neeru Sharma, Chairperson NSS, Campus Units, University of Jammu, Jammu .The event was coordinated by Dr. Meghna Dhar, NSS, Programme Officer, University of Jammu, Jammu with technical support of Vikas Pandita a Software Engineer ,TCS , Mr. Sahil Verma and Ms. Srishti Koul, NSS Volunteers.
