REASI, Sept 12: Under 17, Kho-Kho competition for boys today started here as part of the Inter-zone District level tournament.
Zone Reasi, Pouni , Arnas and Mahore are taking part in the tournament. The matches were held at Sports Stadium.
This tournament was started after the successful completion of cricket tournament.
Chief Guest, Assistant Controller Legal Meteorology Reasi, Pushkar Raj and Guest of honor, District Nodel Officer JKEDI Reasi, Dr Amit Sharma inaugurated the Kho Kho tournament in the presence of District Youth services and Sports officer Reasi Subash Chander Sharma.
The inaugural match was played between zone Pouni and zone Reasi .Toss was won by Zone Reasi and choice to run first. Match was won by Zone Reasi by two points. 2nd match was played between Arnas and Mahore. Zone Mahore won the match by three points.
Arun Sharma of zone Reasi and Sajad Ahmed of zone Mahore were the outstanding players of the match.
The matches were officiated by Ramesh Chander PEM, Ahsoka Kumari, PEM , Goutam Kundal PET, Riaz Ahmed, PET PET ,Arun Dev Singh, PET, Rohit Sharma, REK, Jagdish Raj, REK and Himanshu Sharma, REK.
The matches were played under the Supervision of Ajay Kumar LEC and Jagdev Singh.
