Jammu, Oct 8: Department of Students Welfare University of Jammu, Jammu organizes Online Dance Competition(Freestyle) for the Students of P.G. Departments /Offsite Campuses/affiliated Degree Colleges of University of Jammu. The students enthusiastically participated in the online dance competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. As it was a freestyle Dance Competition, students chose a variety of Dance styles for the performance. The first prize was won by Alisha Bangotra, from Department of LifeLong Learning, University of Jammu where as second prize was shared by Richa Sharma from Department of Political Science& Sakshi Gupta from Department of Chemistry, University of Jammu.Third position was secured by Nedhi Parmar from Department of Zoology. The event was judged by internationally renowned Dancer & DYT Alumnus Mrs Manju Wazir. Vice Chancellor Prof. Manoj K. Dhar appreciated the effort of the Department of Students Welfare for engaging students during the time of COVID. The event was organized under the guidance of Prof Jasbir Singh, Dean Students Welfare and Prof Anupama Vohra, Chairperson, Campus Cultural Committee and was supervised by Prof Samridhi Arora, Co-Chairperson,Campus Cultural Committee, Dr Garima Gupta, Asst Dean (SW) & Dr Pritam Singh,Asst Dean (SW). |
