Saurabh Bhagat participates in evening Chopal at Mughal Maidan

KISHTWAR, Oct 8: Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department, Saurabh Bhagat today participated in evening Chopal, here at block headquarter Mughal Maidan in connection with the Back to Village phase-3 program.
The Secretary in-charge of District Kishtwar listened to the issues of the people and took first hand appraisal of developmental scenario of the far flung area from the PRI members and officials
During evening Chopal various deputations from different areas of the Block interacted with Commissioner Secretary and apprised him about their grievances.
They demanded supply of drinking water and power supply to Sub Centre Mughal Maidan, early Completion of KGBV building, Posting of Lady Doctor, sanctioning of additional ration Depots, repair of foot bridge near Hatchery at Mughal Maidan among others.
After giving patient hearing, Saurabh Bhagat resolved many issues on the spot. He directed the XEn PHE and XEn PDD to ensure the supply of drinking water and power to Sub Centre Mughal Maidan within a week’s time. He also directed for redress of other grievances in a time bound manner.
The deputations also appreciated the efforts of the Secretary for opening the Sinthan road.
Earlier, the Commissioner Secretary chaired the meeting of District Officers and reviewed the progress made under Central Sponsored Schemes, progress on Languishing projects, achievements of Block Divas and Jan Abhiyan. He also inquired about the social welfare and priority sector schemes.
He directed District Nodal Officer Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneur Development Instituted to indentify encourage the people from the remote areas of District to avail the self-employment schemes of JKEDI. He desired to conduct the Screening Committee meeting for clearing such cases in Kishtwar itself.
He also directed ALC Kishtwar to hold awareness camps at Marwah, Warwan and Dachhan and other far off areas for educating, registration and renewal of Building and other construction Workers during ongoing Mission Mode Project.
Earlier, the ADDC briefed the secretary about the action taken with regard to the demands raised by the PRIs and general public during Block Divas at Chatroo.
Progress under RDD, PMGSY, Health, Forest and PDD were also reviewed in the meeting.
