JAMMU, Oct 8: Visiting Officer, Ram Savak, (Director Horticulture Jammu) today held Gram Sabha at Lower Narayana Panchyat of Khour Block.
The PRI members and people from all sections of society participated and apprised the visiting officers about daily problems of life. They demanded better water, electricity and medicare facilities.
In the sabha, Ram Savak distributed soil health cards to the farmers, while revenue officials issued domicile certificates to the eligible applicants.
Meanwhile, the Director Horticulture inaugurated the newly constructed PMAY house of Subash Chander. He also visited Govt. Degree College Khour and interacted with the staff of the college and advised them to plant fruit plants in the premises of the college which shall be provided by the Department of Horticulture.
He also handed over the sports kits to the Panchayat provided by the Youth and Sports Department.
The Director Horticulture thanked all the people of the area for their cooperation and assured that their genuine demands shall be forwarded to the concerned authorities for early redress. |
