| Omar condoles Paswan's demise, calls him strong grassroots base leader | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 9: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday mourned the demise of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and described him as a leader with a strong grassroots base and well honed political instincts. In a message to Chirag Paswan and rest of the family, the vice president of the National Conference (NC) said he was sorry to hear about the sudden demise. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Abdullah said, "Sorry to hear about the sudden demise of Ram Vilas Paswan Sb. He was a leader with a strong grassroots base & well honed political instincts. My father & I send our condolences to @iChiragPaswan and the rest of his family". |
