| Series of activities held on final day of B2V3 in Kathua | | | | KATHUA, Oct 9: The final phase of ambitious ‘Back to Village’ (B2V3) outreach programme concluded on a high note across 109 Panchayats halqas of 6 blocks in the district. On the concluding day, the Visiting Officers inaugurated a string of works taken up under MGNREGA, 14 FC and B2V schemes, besides kick started several new works prioritised by concerned Panchayats. Awareness regarding individual beneficiary based schemes and guidelines of government schemes to help increase rural incomes was also generated by the frontline workers of various departments and the visiting officers. Principal Secretary, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Naveen Kumar Choudhary, Secretary JKPSC Rajesh Sharma, Transport Commissioner Pradeep Kumar, Director Floriculture Kishore Singh Chib, Chief Conservator of Forests T Rabi Kumar, Regional Director Survey and Land Records Mushtaq Ahmed were among the designated Visiting Officers for different Panchayats of Kathua district. |
