DDC Ramban reviews progress on B2V works

RAMBAN, Oct 10: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban, Nazim Zai khan today reviewed the progress on works sanctioned as well as taken up under Back to Village phase-I,II and III in the district.
ADC, Ashok Kumar, DPO, Sunil Bhutyal, CMO, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, CHO, CEO, XENs and various other concerned officers’ attended the meeting.
The DDC took the first hand appraisal of demands registered by the PRIs and general public for the development of their Panchayats during the recently held B2V.
He also reviewed schemes wise status of the works being executed by PHE, PDD, RDD, PWD and various other departments in 143 Panchayats in eleven blocks of the district. Officers were directed to submit the Panchayat wise details of the works, demands and problems relating to their respective departments as per prescribed format to his office.
The DDC asked the departments to take up B2V works on priority as these have been recommended by the people to ensure need based development of their localities.
The DDC also informed that Jan Abhiyan would be organized every Wednesday at district block and Panchayat level to listen to the demands and problems of the public.
