SAMBA, Oct 10: District Development Commissioner, Samba Rohit Khajuria, today convened a meeting of nodal officers and reviewed the action taken report on grievances of general public post Back to village.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman, District Social Welfare Officer, Deep Kumar, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Amil Khateeb, besides other designated nodal officers attended the meeting.
The ACD presented a detailed presentation regarding number of grievances received through the visiting officers and complaints registered during back to village and Jan abhiyan programme. respectively.
It was informed that a complete docket file regarding number of complaints raised, number of complaints resolved at Panchayat, block & district level in addition to number of complaints raised to HoD level, administrative secretary level is also being minutely scrutinised.
The District Development Commissioner, directed district officers to complete the pendency in Aadhar seeding of beneficiaries of social welfare, FS&CA department schemes.
He further exhorted upon the revenue Department field staff to expedite domicile certificate distribution. He laid emphasis upon inculcating grievance resolving approach and working in an inter departmental convergence mode.
The DDC also ordered that each Wednesday shall be observed as ‘Block Divas’ at the block headquarter for holding public-officer interaction regarding rural problems.
The DDC also exhorted upon all the officer to submit action taken report on the complaints received concerning their department with details on further course of action.
