JAMMU, Oct 10: Media-XI CC Jammu registered a win over Sterlite Cricket club by a margin of 14 runs at Phalian mandal Ground Jammu, here today.
After winning the toss, Media-XI Cricket Club led by Mir Imran chose to bat first and registered 145 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Pardeep Singh Bali was the top scorer with 47 runs in 35 balls, while Aqib Rather was the second highest scorer who scored 34 runs off 15 balls and Akshay scored 20 runs in 8 balls.
For Sterlite CC Kulwant and Bhupinder Singh took 3 wickets each, while Prince took two wickets
Chasing the target Sterlite CC led by Harpal Singh was bundled out for 131 runs and lost the match by a margin of 14 runs. Gourav Gupta was the top scorer for Sterlite CC who scored 34 in 31 Balls, Nittan scored 22 in 10 balls. prince who made 12 runs in 8 balls, was the third highest scorer.
Akshay Manhas was declared as Man of the Match for his magnificent knock of 20 runs in just 8 balls and 3 wickets.
