EARLY TIMES REPORT

RAJOURI, Oct 13: A heart wrenching incident has come to light on Monday in Jawahar Nagar Chapariya adjoining Rajouri city wherein a father, under influence of alleged intoxication, had locked his three children in a house for the last 4 days while locked his wife and other 2 children in a separate house. He himself was absconding. Raja Khan, the maternal uncle of the children, lodged a report with the police and said that for the last 4 days the father of the children, Mohammad Naseer Chib had locked up his three children in a house in Jawahar Nagar Chapariya and locked his wife and two other children in Jamola village. He told that Mohammad Naseer Chib had been missing for the last 7 years and suddenly reappeared after 7 years a few days ago.
As soon as Chib returned, he created a ruckus and beat up his children as well as his wife and then went somewhere. After 2 days, he againcame back to the house and took the wife and two children from Jawahar Nagar to their native village house in Jamola and after locking both of them came back to Jawahar Nagar Chhapriya where he locked three children and went missing again. Four days later, the police first liberated three children from the house of Jawahar Nagar Chapariya and after that police went to Jamola to free his wife and children. At the same time, a girl imprisoned in Chaparia house told that she has seen her father after 7 years.
Meanwhile, the police have started a search operation for the absconding father who has once again gone underground.
