Webinar on National Education Policy held

JAMMU, Oct 13: A webinar on the topic, “National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 : A revolutionary breakthrough to transform India” was conducted under the patronage of Commissioner Higher Education, J&K, Talat Parvez Rohella and the Principal, Govt. P. G. College for Women, Gandhinagar, Dr. Sangita Nagari. The webinar was organised by the organising committee consisting of ANO Capt. Shivani Sharma and C/T Suman Bala of2 J&K girls Bn. NCC of the jammu group The Aim of this webinar was to make cadets aware about the amendments in National Education Policy, 2020.
The Resource person of the Webinar was Dr. M. Ashaq Malik , Asst. Prof. of Botany, Govt. P. G. College Rajouri, J&K ; Former Director of Research, Eritrean Institute of Technology, Asmara, State of Eritrea. He discussed NEP and spoke at length on all the four parameters of the policy for the better understanding of the cadets. The principal of the college, Dr. Sangita Nagari shared her views on NEP and insisted to imbibe its essence in dept which will bear fruits in the near future. She also applauded the efforts of NCC cadets in all the activities conducted by their respective ANO’s.
The programme culminated on an optimistic note of keeping ground realities in mind for moving towards a new path to shape the education system and with the formal vote of thanks extended by Cadet Shriya Gupta.
