ABVP demands Magisterial enquiry in police lathicharge

Jammu, Oct 13: ABVP held a press conference at Vidyarthi Bhawan Parade where ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Secretary Mukesh Manhas asserted that the lathicharge by the J&K Police at outside Civil Secretariat is condemnable .He further said the police lathicharged unarmed students & karyakartas. Many of the students & karyakartas got serious injury.
The Police has manhandled with many girls students and some of them got serious injury. He said there are some students whom Mobile phones and gold earring have been stolen. He asked who will pay for it. The administration should take strict action against those who are responsible for all this and should make a Magistrate inquiry. He further said why our representative, our Member of Parliament, all Political parties of the Jammu Kashmir are silent on the whole issue .Students are suffering alot , and our representative are in silent mood In coming times. He further said the administration should increase the intake capacity and seats in general courses of all the colleges of Cluster University of Jammu. If the demands of the students will not fullfill ABVP will go for a Statewide Protest. Others who were present in the press conference are Nandita Sharma State Joint Secretary and Akshay Pardhan Jammu Mahanagar Secretary.
