JTC, SKF protest dharna continues, enters 12th day

JAMMU, Oct 13: The Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J&K continued their protest Dharna for the 12th day today. The committee staged a strong protest today and held a rally under the presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita, convener of PCC Migrant Cell J&K to open the eyes of the government for the enhancement of monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000.
He demanded that the jobs should be given in those houses where there is no government employee. The protest rally started off from Block No 30 and culminated at Relief Zone Jagti where Pandita told the Relief Officers of the Relief Organization that their demands should be conveyed to the state and central government immediately. Addressing the members, Pandita said that today is the 12th day of our agitation and it will continue till government meets our demands. The JTC /SKF chief said that this is a fight for Justice and every party should join in this fight. He said that the attitude of the government is such that they neither listen with their ears nor see with their eyes that the Kashmiri Pandits are forced to live a difficult life. The government should solve the demands of Jagti Tenement Committee, Soan Kashmir Front J&K as soon as possible, he added.
