EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Oct 15: Activists of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) J&K held a strong protest here today at Kacchi Chawni against President National Conference Dr Farooq Abdullah for his seditious remarks of asking for help from China to restore article 370 in J&K.
The members of BJYM led by their President Arundev Singh amidst the chants of Farooq Abdullah murdabaad burnt the effigy of Farooq Abdullah at Kacchi Chawni Chowk.
While addressing the media persons, Singh said that the very act of Abdullah has hurt the public sentiments in India and it is a challenge to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. He termed his remarks as seditious and anti-national in nature.
He also demanded the administration to invoke PSA on Dr Abdullah and take appropriate legal action against him in a time bound manner. He further urged the Government of India to terminate Dr Abdullah as Lok Sabha MP as punishment for his evident disloyalty towards the nation.
The protestors also demanded the Jammu based leaders of NC to clear their stand and tell the public whether they vindicate Dr Abdullah's stand or not.
BJYM J&K warned that any statement against the nation's integrity and sovereignty will be dealt with iron hands by Yuva Morcha both on roads and in the courts.
Hari Om Sharma, Rinku Choudhary, Preity Choudhary, Kapil Singh Chib along with other Yuva Morcha members were also present in the protest.
