Samoon reviews department’s preparedness for ensuing annual exam of 10th, 12th classes

SRINAGAR, Oct 15: Principal Secretary, School Education and Skill Development, Dr Asgar Hassan Sammon, today convened a meeting of senior officers to review preparedness of Education Department for ensuing annual examination of 10th and 12th classes.
Threadbare discussion was held on various important issues regarding department’s preparedness for ensuing annual (regular) examination of 10th and 12th classes 2020 being held in Kashmir and winter zone areas of Jammu Division.
Chairperson JKBOSE, Veena Pandita, Deputy Commissioners, Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta, Joint Director School Education Kashmir, Abid Hussain, Chief Education Officers of both the divisions and other concerned officers attended the meeting through video conference while Joint Secretary Examination BOSE and Joint Secretary Publication and Procurement were present in the meeting.
Chairperson JKBOSE presented a detailed report on steps being taken up by the Board for timely conduct of the said examination keeping in view all the necessary preventive protocols and SOPs issued by the government from time to time to prevent spread of Covid-19.
Principal Secretary directed the senior functionaries of concerned departments to work in tandem for smooth and successful conduct of the said examination.
