Jammu, Oct 15: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu organized trekking camp expedition for boys under 17 and 19 yrs age group today at Patnitop.
About 60 Boys along with 10 officials get the green signal by the Chief Guest Satish Kumar Additional District Development Commissioner, at MA Stadium, Jammu. The Camp is organized under the Chairmanship of Worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports, J&K and under the supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu.
The main aim of the Trekking camp is to provide natural knowledge, all round development and all the components of Physical fitness to the students. It is a part of adventure sports with team work under proper guidance and a preplanned schedule in which the participants took this advantage to remain outside their home for some days. The experts/ officials deputed alongwith the contingent shall provide best knowledge to the students during the course of period. Among those were deputed Sh. Harsimran Singh, PEL, Sh. Ram Murti, PEM, I/C Activity, Sh. Yash Paul Sharma, PEM, Sh. Harvinder Singh sodhi, vishal malhotra and alongwith escorted officials of the department.
