Councillor inaugurates construction of lane and drain

AKHNOOR, Nov 1: Councillor of Ward number 7 Akhnoor Municipal Committee, Sanjay Saraf in presence of President MC Akhnoor Surinder Sharma, Vice President MC Akhnoor Amita Gupta, Councillor Khema Devi, Councillor Karan Singh, Councillor Shilpa Mahajan inaugurated construction of lane and drain measuring around 200ft in his ward which costs around 2.00 lakhs.
Sanjay Saraf said it was due to the Covid pandemic some projects were delayed but now works have been started again and soon he will construct all lanes and drains of his ward. He assured the residents of the ward that quality work will be done and the left out portion of lane and drain will be done soon as they will get some more funds.
Surinder Sharma, President MC Akhnoor speaking on the occasion said that he and his team is very much focussed for developing the Akhnoor town. He said proper lanes, drainage, clean drinking water and continuous power supply are his core agendas in the town. He informed that solar lights under AJAY are being installed all over the town and will get repaired the defunct street lights of the town very soon. Surinder Sharma promised the public that he will leave no stone u turned for development of Akhnoor town.
Residents of ward thanked Sanjay for the developmental works. Meanwhile sweets were distributed among all during the programme. Others who were present during the programme are Santosh Sharma (Senior BJP Leader), Ashu Sharma, Vishnoo Parkash, Happy Kumar, Ashish Sarotia, Varun Mahajan, Rishav Gupta, Harbans Lal Sharma and various other residents of ward number 7.
