11/1/2020 10:16:06 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 1: Team All J&K Young Unemployed Engineers Association (AJKYUEA) held a meeting here today at Jammu. Various important issues pertaining to engineering aspirants were discussed in detail.
Meeting informed that every year the pass out engineers are 15000 approximately and not even a single post has been advertised in any branch-Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, E&C, IT and Computer from past 7 years.
"The last advertisement of engineers was in 2013-2014. Not even single posts of engineers whether gazetted or non-gazetted has been advertised". In 2018 some posts of electrical junior engineer and assistant electrical engineer were advertised but after sometime the posts were withdrawn, due to which the youth went into depression, they said, adding that it is the duty of the UT Government to utilize the genuine power of Engineers in their respective fields.
They certainly demand that both private and Government agencies should give first priority to J&K young unemployed engineers. At last, AJKUEA appealed Lieutenant Governor JKUT Manoj Sinha to personally intervene in the matter and to set policy to accommodate large number of engineering at the earliest by filling up of vacant posts of all engineering wings-Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Communication, Information Technology, Computer etc and also demanded that a policy should be framed for private companies to accommodate J&K engineers' at least in UT projects.
Meeting was further attended by Muktesh Yogi, Basharat Ali, Ayush Mahajan, Shubham Abrol, Meenakshi, Vishal Saini, Vikash Koul, Palvi and others.
