Plus Two Forum highlights issues of Edu Deptt 11/1/2020 10:16:13 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 1: Monthly meeting of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum was held through virtual mode under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma wherein the forum demanded filling up of all Administrative posts lying vacant in School Education Department on priority for the smooth functioning of Department as number of posts of Joint Directors and equivalents, DIET Principals, CEOs and equivalents and Principals of Higher Secondary Schools are lying vacant in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. Deepak Sharma said that about 250 Higher secondary schools are lying headless due to which implementation of various initiatives taken by the department in the interest of students amid Covid-19 is not hassle-free. He further added that in most of the cases, a single Principal is holding the charge of a number of schools and Zones as ZEOs as well thus finding it difficult to do justice especially amid prevailing circumstances. The forum demanded immediate filling up of all the vacant posts of +2 Principals strictly according to the UT level seniority of Senior Lecturers even on look-after basis along with DDO Powers as per the seniority list available vide Govt Order No 1074 of Education 2013 Dated 30-12-2013 and updated vide Govt Order No 126 Edu of 2020 Dated 26-5-2020. Forum also demanded promotion list of CEOs and equivalents as nearly 15 posts are lying vacant and immediate adjustment of already promoted Joint Directors for effective functioning of School Education Department.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
